Community centre to stage Christmas carol concert

Carols from The Stokes Singers in Bradley Stoke's Town Square.

Patchway Community Centre is holding a carol concert in the main hall on Monday (17th December), from 7pm to 9pm.

The event includes drama performances by young children and the Patchway Players, dance from STOMP, singing from St. Chad’s Primary School pupils and from youth workers Jared and Susan, as well as the chance to join in with community carol singing and listen to the accomplished Concord Clarinets.

Admission price is £2 per adult; £1 per child (5 – 16); or £5 per family (up to 2 adults and 3 children). This includes refreshments of mince pies and non-alcoholic punch or squash.

Money raised will be shared equally between Caring at Christmas and the community centre’s new building fund.

Anyone wishing to attend but in need of transport is asked to ring Louisa Trueman, community centre manager, on 07789 172351 or Win Williams on 07857 690 579.

The community centre is also collecting gifts of toiletries, food and toys for Caring at Christmas. Gifts can be accepted at the community centre between 9:30am and 2pm Monday to Friday or on the night of the concert.
