JLS to headline The Mall’s charity Christmas concert and lights switch-on

JLS confirmed as headline act for concert to raise £20,000 for Bristol Children’s Hospital.

The Mall at Cribbs Causeway has confirmed its plans to host a charity concert in aid of Bristol charity Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and support its campaign to raise funds for a new Cardiac Hybrid Theatre at Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Wallace & Gromit's Appeal - The Bristol Children's Hospital Charity.The concert, due to take place at 6pm on Thursday 8th November, will aim to raise around £20,000 to fund pioneering new equipment to revolutionise treatment for sick children with heart conditions, and place Bristol Children’s Hospital at the forefront of cardiac care in the UK.

Sarah Vipond from The Wallace & Gromit Appeal says:

“We are delighted to be working with The Mall on such an exciting festive event, and we are so thrilled to benefit from what will be a fantastic performance by JLS to support Bristol Children’s Hospital.”

Maria Crayton, Head of Marketing at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway says fans will not be disappointed:

“We’ve been lucky to draw some big acts to Bristol in the last 12 months, with Olly Murs last November, and Pixie Lott and Misha B performing at our Jubilee Concert back in June, which raised over £10,000 for ‘A Life for a Cure’ – Ryan Bresnahan Meningitis Appeal.”

As well as treating fans to an exclusive set, JLS will be switching on The Mall’s Christmas lights and officially opening their new Winter Wonderland.

The Mall at Cribbs Causeway will be giving away 10,000 free tickets to the event, in exchange for a minimum suggested donation of £2 per ticket to Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal. Tickets will be available to collect everyday from The Mall’s Information Desk from Saturday 13th October until Thursday 8th November.

Please note: The Christmas Lights Switch On and Concert is a ticket only event. There will be no admission without a ticket. Tickets being given away are limited to a maximum of 500 per day.
