Appeal for information following Callicroft distraction burglary

Witnesses and information are being sought following a distraction burglary in Patchway last week.

At around 4pm on Friday 22nd June, an 86-year-old woman was at home in Callicroft Road, when a man knocked at the door asking about building work.

The lady let the man into the house. When the man left, the victim noticed money had been taken.

Officers investigating this crime would now like to speak to a man who is described as white, approx 20 years-old, tall, and of a slim build. He had short curly brown hair, was clean shaven and was wearing grey patterned trousers and a grey/black top.

  1. I live in this street and so do a lot of my friends we havent heard anything about this ,When and what number was it

  2. Sorry didnt mean to say when ,but we havent heard a thing about this and normally you get the Part time policemen/women coming round the street to let you know to be on the look out for any one looking out of place.
