Thieves steal tricycle belonging to five-year-old with cerebral palsy

Police are appealing for help in tracing a stolen tricycle, which belongs to a five-year old girl who has cerebral palsy. Thieves broke into a shed at the home of the girl’s grandmother in Bradley Road, Patchway, to steal the specially-built red Tomcat trike, worth £600. Cash stolen from 92-year-old Stoke Lodge woman while she slept

Police are appealing for help to catch thieves who stole cash from a 92-year-old woman’s home in Stoke Lodge, Patchway. It happened at about 1pm yesterday, Thursday 18th October, in the Stoke Lane/Amberley Road area. The lady was taking an afternoon nap when two men came into her home through an unlocked door and took the cash from her bag.

Appeal for information following Callicroft distraction burglary

Witnesses and information are being sought following a distraction burglary in Patchway last week. At around 4pm on Friday 22nd June, an 86-year-old woman was at home in Callicroft Road, when a man knocked at the door asking about building work. The lady let the man into the house. When the man left, the victim noticed money had been taken.

Avon and Somerset police have circulated a ‘wanted’ poster to local churches and clubs asking for information about a man who travels the country committing burglary and fraud.
