Council seeks views on draft plan for Cribbs/Patchway New Neighbourhood

South Gloucestershire Council (SGC) has extended the deadline for comments on its draft Development Framework Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the proposed Cribbs/Patchway New Neighbourhood, which could see 5,700 new dwellings built in the area by 2027. The consultation was originally scheduled to finish last week but the Council has revised the deadline to 1st February after two further documents

Persimmon submits plans for 1,100 homes south of airfield

Housebuilder Persimmon has submitted a planning application for 1,100 homes at Fishpool Hill, south of Filton Airfield. The development, which includes a local centre and a primary school, will be constructed on agricultural land north of the Henbury Loop railway line, between the A4018 in the west and Charlton Common in the east. The land lies within the ‘New Charlton’
