Police appeal after theft from Patchway bus at The Mall

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a theft from a First Group bus on Friday 2nd September.

The incident occurred at around 1:30pm and the offender is believed to have been a passenger on a number 75 bus which had just arrived at The Mall bus depot (Cribbs Causeway, Bristol).

The offender is described as a black man, aged late teens to early twenties, slim build with long hair. He was wearing an anorak-type jacket and blue jeans.

On alighting from the bus, the offender grabbed a plastic wallet containing cash.

There were a number of other passengers exiting the bus at this time and other people in the area.
