Meets monthly. Comments on planning issues effecting Patchway and puts forward recommendations to South Gloucestershire Council. Responsible for the bus shelters owned and maintained by the Town, six public seats and numerous litter bins. Comments on public transport and traffic issues which affect Patchway. Patchway Town Council Parks and Open Spaces Committee Meeting
Patchway Common Pavilion, The Avenue, Patchway, Bristol (map)
The committee is responsible for the running of Scott Park and The Avenue Playing Field and maintenance of both pavilions, play areas, grass cutting and other equipment. It is also responsible for the allotment sites at Pretoria Road and Blakeney Road; the three play areas at Blakeney Road, Bevington Walk and Gorse Covert; and the open space at The Tumps. Patchway Royal British Legion and Patchway Community Centre are holding a joint celebration with a street party in Rodway Road. With a variety of stalls, a BBQ and refreshments, including an open bar in the Legion. Live music on stage from ‘Trouble on the Green’ as well as local acts.

Diamond Jubilee Beacon Lighting
The Tumps, Waterside Drive, Patchway, Bristol (map)
Over 2,000 Beacons will be lit throughout the UK, Channel Islands and Commonwealth in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The Queen will light the National Beacon in London. In Patchway, the Town Council is working with the 2nd Patchway Scouts and Holy Family RC Church to organise a procession from the Roundabout to The Tumps to light our Beacon in Waterside Drive.

St John Ambulance Youth Division meets at Patchway Community Centre from 7pm to 9pm. Badger Sett (ages 5 to 10) meets 6pm to 7pm.
