Patchway Community College has learned that it has been unsuccessful in its application to the Government’s Priority School Building Programme (PSBP), aimed at schools “in need of urgent repair”. Education Secretary Michael Gove announced last week that just 261 schools from the 587 that applied would receive funding, with South Gloucestershire missing out completely on the £2bn investment.
