A Southmead man has been jailed for being involved in the running of a cannabis factory at a house in Cranbourne Road, Patchway, reports the Bristol Evening Post.
Police officers executing a warrant at the property found cannabis plants being grown in special tents in a back bedroom as well as the loft, Bristol Crown Court heard.
Paul Donegan, 32, was arrested after his DNA was found on a discarded cigarette end at the property. He later admitted to police that he had rented the premises for a year.
Donegan was jailed for nine months after pleading guilty to being concerned in the production of a class B drug and abstracting electricity.
