Patchway Watercolourists are to feature in the Take HeArt exhibition at Yate Library that runs from 5th May to 28th June.

Take HeArt is an arts festival which brings together the very best local amateur art groups for a series of week-long exhibitions throughout May and June.

The festival is a great opportunity to see some wonderful art, find out about local art groups and maybe even purchase your very own masterpiece made in South Gloucestershire.

The Watercolourists will be exhibiting from Thursday 23rd June to Tuesday 28th June.

The group meets at Consiton Community Centre on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2pm to 4:30pm. It is a friendly group with the guidance of a professional tutor. New members are welcome to come and have a go. Sessions are £3 each, pay as you go.

Official opening of Patchway Post Office

Jack Lopresti MP officially opened the new Patchway Post Office on Friday 13th May.

Mr Lopresti said:

A Post Office Ltd spokesman said:

“We are delighted to have appointed a new partner providing us the opportunity to restore Post Office services to the local community.”

“Customers will have access to a wide range of Post Office products and services, including automated banking services, bill and budget payment schemes, Post Office card account, postal orders as well as postage for letters and packets.”
